We can certify translations in 3 ways:

Basic certification

A basic certification means that your document will be translated and a declaration of accuracy signed by us will be attached to the translated document, together with a copy of the document from which the translation was made.

Our seal will be affixed to the certification and a reference number will be assigned to each document that we translate, which will also appear in the translated document.

Notarized Certification

Some government agencies require notarization: A notary confirms the identity of the person signing the certification document. The translator has to visit a notary, prove his identity to him and sign the certificate in the notary's presence. This process is significantly more costly, and it adds to the required time for obtaining the translation. Notarization does not guarantee the quality of the translation.

An Apostille is a certificate confirming that a signature or seal on a document is genuine. The process of obtaining an Apostille is called Legalisation.

Legalization of a document is required to give hereto legal effect on the territory of another state. Thus, in order to send any document issued within the territory of the Russian Federation abroad you must legalize it.

The documents provided for legalization are requested some things, to be executed, also you should take into account that no legalization is required for some countries. Moreover, some documents may not be legalized, they may be certified by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the destination country.

Translated documents for submission to UK courts are usually certified before a Solicitor and documents for use abroad are sometimes required to be certified before a Notary Public. In some cases legalisation at the Foreign Office (Apostille) and/or further consular legalisation is also required.

Our minimum fee for translation with our basic certification is only £62, including VAT. This fee applies for translation of up to 440 words in total. If your document is larger or you have multiple documents submit a copy to us and we will get back to you with a firm quote.

If you have any questions at all, contact us and we will do our best to clarify any doubts.
